In our grade 1 class, we will be reviewing simple French sounds, vocabulary and language structures to communicate. Songs, actions, poems, prayers, games, role-plays, presentations and discussions will to used to help guide oral communication in a new language.
We will also be learning a variety of reading and writing strategies throughout the year to reinforce French literacy. We will be using journal writing, fiction and non-fiction texts, teacher and student lead technology to enhance our learning!
